Our story.

We are a husband-and-wife team dedicated to building great homes. What drives us is our personal pride in our work and we know that reflects directly on our reputation. At JDG Constructions, you deal with the decision makers; business owners who take responsibility and can make decisions.

We have been helping people build their dream homes in the Coffs Harbour region for over 10 years and are committed to delivering great outcomes for each individual home and family.

Our history.

2006 - 2009

Jason began his career as an Apprentice Carpenter, where he worked hard and learned the ropes quickly. So much so that he managed to complete his 4-year apprenticeship in 3 years!

2009 - 2011

Armed with his new qualification and experience, Jason began working as a sub-contractor for carpentry work and began working with building teams, giving him excellent knowledge, insight, and hands-on experience.

2011 - Current

After attaining his Builders Licence, Jason decided to capitalise on his solid experience and started JDG Constructions. The combination of skills Jason has harnessed in his past and present roles gives him the expertise to manage and oversee all projects through to successful completion.

2017

Jason entered his first building award and walked away as a WINNER for the HIA Northern NSW Custom Built Home ($400K to $600K). With this award, word continued to circulate and the business grew rapidly as the team began to be known for high-end builds, customer service and a “can-do” attitude.

2018

With the continued growth of the business, Emma joined the team. Previously a Service Control Manager withFuji Xerox, Emma’s attention to detail was impressive and would be a great asset to JDG Constructions. It was at this time that both Emma and Jason found JDG’s niche, building premium custom homes and high-level renovations. In 2018,JDG Constructions became a Finalist in the HIA Northern NSW Renovation/AdditionUp to $400K category.

2020

Whilst 2020 was a difficult year, with COVID causing chaos, JDG Constructions managed to take it all in their stride, continuing to take on larger and more premium builds.

This year also saw JDG Constructions win 2 HIA awards and become finalists in 2 other HIA award categories in the custom new home $1,000,000-$2,000,000 category.

2021 and beyond

Moving forward we intend to continually push the boundaries of exceptional finishes and quality workmanship, specialising in high end residential constructions.
